I am an Assistant Professor in Economics at the University of Mannheim (since autumn 2014). I completed my PhD at the Department of Economics at University College London in August 2014. I am a Research Fellow at the Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration at University College London.
My fields of interest are in Applied Microeconomics, mainly Public Economics, Economics of Education and Labour Economics.
In my Job Market paper, I am studying the effect of maternity benefit payments on fertility behaviour. I also work on the the effects of public childcare provision on children. View drafts of my research papers here. More information about me can be found in my CV.
